My husband and I have been going to this casino since the day it opened as Casino Magic.
Louis are during our visit on January 25-28, 2015. Gas was just $1.68-$1.80 a gallon in Waveland/Bay St. You can drive right along the water's edge from SIlver Slipper Casino in Waveland to Beau Rivage and others in Biloxi. Louis with quaint shops, eateries and gulf view. If you do visit here, plan some time to visit downtown Bay St. This place is well off the beaten path as other Mississippi Gulf Coast casinos in Gulfport and Biloxi are a solid half-hour drive away. Too cold for golf when we were there but the on-property course is top-rated and would love to play it sometime. Overall, the casino is relatively small but not bad and most of the dealers were very friendly. Also disappointed to learn that double-deck pitch paid 6-5 on blackjack but casino also offered 6-deck shoe BJ at 3-2. Also, every item on the buffet was marked 'gluten free' or 'gluten'. Best part of the buffet was the unusual variety of sugar free deserts. No late night buffet, either, even on weekends. Buffet only offered lunch and dinner and both were pricey given the fare. Was disappointed to learn this hotel/casino didn't offer a breakfast buffet any day of the week (expensive, seemingly nuke-cooked breakfast available in small eatery on casino floor).
